Its a new fairly big soccer stadium. It will be interesting to see how full it gets. I've heard its close to selling out. (not sure that is true or not) I wonder if they will open up more sections.

THUNDERSTORMS EXPECTED

Post by DESMOND_STORYVILLE »

Rain and scattered thunderstorms for tonight's show at Rio Tinto.....could be a perfect night for them to pull out WHEN LIGHTNING STRIKES! Wouldn't that be cool to see them play this with a full thunderstorm overhead?

Sandy • Nearly 40 years after the iconic, face-painted band KISS formed, the hard-rock quartet returned to Utah after a seven-year absence and delivered everything their fans wanted Wednesday night at Rio Tinto Stadium.

Guitarist Paul Stanley, with a chest full of jet-black hair, exhorting the crowd to say “Yeah” frequently with his infamous high-pitched squeals in between songs? Check.

The guy has a fetish for Paul's chest hair. He should have paid more attention to the concert.

Drummer Eric Singer performing an elaborate, extended drum solo after “Shock You”? Check.

Isn't the title repeated all throughout the song??Shock Me not Shock You

Stanley’s unbridled energy was infectious, especially when he zip-lined to a small stage in the middle of the lawn seats, during “I Was Made to Love You.”
Same as above.

After playing “Beth,” the band stopped the show to welcome representatives from the armed services and delivered a check of more than $400,000 to the Wounded Warrior Project. As one of the band members held a large flag, Stanley asked the crowd to put their hands over their hearts and recite the Pledge of Allegiance. That was a first.

Check had proper amount, why guess? Of course him thinking this was the first time they had done this also had reviewer confused.

The fact that he liked the show is lost on his complete ignorance of the facts.

it was awsome, having front row seats helped a little bit  not my favorite set list though, would have substituted a few diff. songs. they band sounded great and looked like they were having fun.

i feel bad for the people without floor seats, the stadium seats, man they were waaaaayyyyyyy far away from the stage, i would have been sooooo mad. wish i would have picked up another tourbook or two. got tons of picks and almost gene's mic cover, tommy threw it just out of my reach :x
