Flying into town on Friday, probably heading down to Molson Amphitheatre by late afternoon.

I have a friend of mine joining me from Montreal.

Maybe a few beers afterwards.

Looks like its going to be close to a sold out show.All the ticket packages seem to be all gone. I am going to head down there pretty early that day see if i can upgrade my seats.

Its a shame that ONTARIO PLACE will not be operating the day KISS comes.I would have loved to spent the whole day down there. The Toronto EXHIBITION {CNE}is finished tomorrow.

The CNE being closed though does have its advantages. I was at one show at the Amp while the CNE was still open and traffic plus the flow of people was an absolute nightmare!

I'm totally up for having some beers with the FAQers though I have to catch a bus back to Newmarket, so I'm all for meeting up during the opening acts

Just checked Ticketmaster, the buy 1 get 6 is sold out, but individual lawn tickets are still available.

What would also be an ideal place to meet up at the venue? Parking lot, concession stands etc.?

I work til 6 but will be heading straight there after and have no interest in the opening bands so a hook-up is definetly in the cards!

Sounds like a plan! I'll be arriving at the venue around 6:30 - 6:45 so anytime after then is good for me. Though since I am on the lawn I want to try to maintain a decent spot so I probably won't be able to hang out until like, 5 minutes before the band takes the stage lol, but probably after the last opener finishes up and it's intermission time.

As for recording, I'm sure someone at the show will post it up on some torrent site or even YouTube.

I don't know the area at all. I've been to Toronto several times through the years, but I haven't been down near that venue or Ontario place since 1986.

I was 10 then, and wasn't looking for a pub.

There are really no pubs, or the like in the area. We were just at Ontario Place yesterday and there are a few places serving on the grounds though.

Haven't got tickets yet but looking at some ticket brokers (scalpers) for some good seats.

It'll be my 9th show and my sons (Pau_The_Caravello_Fox) fifth show.

I see the show starts at 6:30 but for others that have been to these 6:30 starts, what time does Kiss actually go on?

I've been reading between 8:30 and 8:45. The Molson Amp has an 11:00 curfew so that sounds about right.

Canada is a big place - Spirit about an 1 1/2 hour plane flight away

It's a big word, geography. Sort of like gymnasium.

I've got a 3hr plane ride to get there, I'm in Canada too.

If Ontario Place is closed, there is nothing and nowhere to eat and/or drink in and around the Amphitheatre. Only the beer and fast food that's inside available.

You got that right!! The beer and fast food vendors will be available when the gates open. No place to go until then.

Well, as much as I like visiting friends in Toronto, it was my only option this summer. I could have gone to Boston, but it was more expensive and I don't have any family or friends there.

I've seen KISS in Montreal (3 times), Ottawa (once), and Halifax (once). Toronto may as well join the list.

KISS aren't the only band I've flown to see. In this area of the country you quite often need to accept that there will be travel involved if you want to see the bands you love.

Well, I'm staying in Ontario for 6 days visiting family and friends. If I go that far, I may as well make the most of it. My wife and my 7 month old little boy are coming as well. They'll be spending time with friends at the hotel the night of the show. A friend of mine from Montreal will be joining me at the show.

I'm a substitute teacher, so I just decided to skip the first 2 weeks of school. I get back home on September 16th and hopefully work comes within the following week. Just an extended summer vacation....that's all.

We'll be arriving between 6:00 and 6:30 and have no interest in hearing the openers, so if somebody would like to get together in that "beer tent like thing" just outside of the ampitheatre we are game. I'll have an iphone on me and we'll have access to the boards to find out if anybody is gathering anywhere.

BTW the weather is awesome right now, hope it lasts.
