Nice. :)

Of course, there's a huge potential market there for a 10,000 seater.

Just got home.

Great show. The band sounded great. Paul was raspy tonight, but sounded good otherwise. Almost sold out. A few empty seats here and there. I think they may have sold a few more seats here last October.

Comparing this show with the Mansfield show, the crowd in Mansfield was
much more into the show. I find crowds at Mohegan Sun to be rather tame (I've seen Judas Priest, Heaven and Hell, RUSH (2 tours), Journey,
and KISS (2 tours) here and the crowds are always on the tame side). Paul sounded good at both shows, but he was much better in Mansfield (he wasn't raspy there, but was a bit raspy tonight). Sorry, I'm spacing out on the number on the check, maybe $180,000 +. I find the sound at Mohegan Sun Arena to be hit or miss, but everything sounded clear to me tonight. Eric had a problem with one of his toms and it had to be replaced.
The KISS logo spazzed out during one song, but was o.k. for the rest of the show. During IWMFLY Paul hug his leg low on purpose on both trips.
I don't know if he touched anyone or if anyone touched him. I hadn't seen him do that before.

They went on around 9:10 and the show ended at either 11:20 or 11:25.
Same setlist.

Brought two friends who had never seen KISS before (one had many of the '70s lps when he was growing up). They both loved the show.

Show #21 and the 2nd and last for this year. Looking forward to the new studio cd and tour next year.

Now remember, this is the "casino" some people were mocking KISS for playing.

184,743 new total -just the adjusted PAID total for the whole tour thru last night excluding Sault Ste Marie - 4,700 (unlikely to be counted towards the WW donation) ,as all of these tickets were sold last year. This was a make up date.

These numbers will go up more once the free lawn seats are added to attendance total. They only donate a $1 for each sold ticket.

I think Shockstar is alluding to Mohegans capacity for concerts is less than 13,000 this chq would indicate they sold more seats than the venues capacity?

the free lawn seats will not be reported for the attendence numbers .only paid tickets get added to attendence totals..free tickets are not reported.pollstar does not include any free tickets in its concert attendence reporting..

they did not sell more tickets to this concert..the capacity for this arena is 10,000..you guys need to stop trying to come up with numbers based on the check.. what happens if i donate $500 that may be included so wait for the pollstar numbers..kiss is packing the places but lets not get crazy and post numbers that do not jive with the seating of the arena..kiss is making a killing but lets not post crazy numbers that dont jive

:thumleft: To date, KISS has raised $184,743.00 for the CSRA Wounded Warriors Care Project on the Hottest Show On Earth tour!

KISS is donating one dollar from every admission sold throughout the Hottest Show On Earth Tour to the CSRA Wounded Warriors Care Project.

No $500 donations, just ticket sales. And pollstar may not release the free lawn ticket numbers but you can bet that KISS,Live Nation and Doc Mcgee will release these numbers just to show what a success the free ticket program was.

Capacity Basketball: 9,518 Concerts: 12,000

As of 2006, the seatings can be configured into 5 common sports configurations. Basketball, boxing, bowling, rodeo, ping pong. It also can be reconfigured to fit 3 types of concerts: regular, fullhouse and round. The arena has won awards for being one of America's most modern concert venues

I really have no clue where they come up with the numbers. So far this Summer I've seen 5 shows on HSOE. Every venue has been PACKED, maybe not to 100% capacity, but you have to remember some of these places hold 20,000 people. I was there at Mohegan last night, it was sold out for sure. As far as attendence...the Mohegan Sun Arena assembled for an End Stage concert holds 7,601. The 10,000 capacity number you see might be for boxing or wrestling, where they use every square inch of the tiers and the floor. As for the new total of 184,743, maybe KISS is getting finalized adjusted totals for the previous shows. I dont know, I can't make any sense out of it.

:thumleft: Might have some contributions added to it,we don't know.I also question,If I buy my ticket to Charlotte today from Live Nation? Is is in the total tonight? Don't know. This is the closest to a nightly running total we've ever had and it's fun to keep count. And it's a fun way to give a :double: to the whole KISS IS DOOMED crowd.I know you're not one.

Because they are donating a dollar from every ticket sale to the cause. Your friends donation, or any donation for that matter, is not part of ticket sales.

KISS will present a check at the end of the tour to the Wounded Warriors Foundation. I doubt your friend's generous contribution would be considered a KISS contribution.

Seats behind the stage are obstructed view and were not sold.

The capacity for a show at Mohegan Sun Arena that doesn't sell tickets
behind the stage (due to obstructed views, such as curtains and/or video screens) is 7,000 and change.

What you wrote is correct. The 7,601 figure sounds accurate.

I was seated in section 110 (same exact section, row, and seat for both
last night's show and the show last October). There were a few empty seats last night. The place was packed, just like it was last October. It looked like they may have sold a few more seats last October.

It wouldn't count because it's a personal donation. It has nothing to do
with KISS' contribution. Your friend did a nice thing. Your friend, by
purchasing a ticket, ended up contributing $1 to the fund that KISS is
donating.
