I'd be in my seat my 8:30. They'll go on between 8:45 and 9:00.
Since there's an 11:00 p.m. curfew they'll need to go on at 8:45 to
play the full 2 hour 15 minute set.

The Missus, my 14 year old daughter (her first KISS concert) and I will be in Section 4, row C, seats 1-3 (for $25 each! Wow!).

Are we doing a pre-show, meetup for FAQers?

I asked and didn't get an answer. I've never been to the comcast Center either. I guess we'll just have to walk around saying "KISSFAQ" or have a small hand held sign that says "KISSFAQ" on it.

I've been there once, there's an area outside the concert-area that has stalls and such to buy drinks...maybe we could meet there?

Okay. How about a set time so you (or someone else) is not standing there for a long, long time? I don't know what time they start letting people in, but I would say shortly right after that would be a good time.

From what I've been told, parking lot opens at 4:30 (although I'm sure it will open before that), gates open at 5:30 & first band goes on at 6:30.

Lets meet right when the gates open then. If they open at 5:30, it'll be 5:30-5:45. I really don't think people will want to stay for a half hour waiting for people to show and no one does.

I tried that waiting in line in North Dakota, but the only reaction I got was the closest people to me moved away

That works...so we're saying 5:30-5:45 at the main gate, and look for THE SIGN. Easy enough! None of my KISS shirts fit anymore (!) so I'm going Zeppelin. Close enough :D

I have no idea what time I'll get there.........most likely I'm going alone. I hate sitting thru opening bands. I worked a half day and I'm working tomorrow so I'll be the one that's half asleep, 3rd row center, til of course, KISS comes out, then I'll be wide awake......

Hopefully, I'll drag a few more asses with me with their still being tickets being sold. I lucked out and got this one for 85 bucks just a week ago.

I had a blast. Turns out my 3rd row seat was actually a front row seat so I was twice as happy. Great show, nice set list.........good weather too. Finally, the humidity took a break which surprised me. I'll try to post some pics but for now, I'm wiped out and need to sleep and get up later for work. I'll have to calculate which number show this is for me. 40 something........

The Show was fantastic. Band started at 8:50pm and endes at 11:10pm. Pauls voice actually sounded better than it has recently. The band sounded tighter then ever and the energy was at full force. I was also suprised but the venue was packed which was a good thing. The only thing upsetting was watching people get up and leave during I'm An Animal. It sounded fantastic live tonight and it bothers me that the fairweather fans didn't give it a chance. My only complaint for this tour was lack of good merch. They really didn't have anything spectacular to offer for shirts. Same set list they have been doing nothing new tonight, but still an awesome show.

They laughed at Paul when he said "Wal-Mart" ... if it wasn't for Wal-Mart KISS would have never recorded Sonic Boom ... he says "here's another one off Sonic Boom" and crowd goes dead like they have no idea KISS had a new album.

Was it? I was down front (6 rows from Tommy) and from what I could see, the covered seating was just about sold out (8000 or so seats) and the uncovered seating was populated too. The lawn looked pretty empty. Leads me to estimate attendance at 8-10,000 folks.

a friend of mine is a security guard there and he told me they sold about 9000 out of 19,000 but i'm sure there was a bunch of walkups too
the seating looked pretty full by the time they got on

it was an awesome show and it did run late so they will be fined almost $15,000

The Comcast Center, originally Great Woods Center for the Performing Arts, located in Mansfield Massachusetts is 19,900 capacity amphitheater. Of that amount 14,400 are reserved seats, 7,400 are in the pavilion, 7,000 are open air seating, and 5,500 are on the lawn.

On Live Share there's picture of the check presentation, butt taken with a Flip cam.Anyone that was there please help out :thumleft:

lolza it was amazing...although I made A SIGN that epically failed. All my boyfriend and I got was funny looks. But it was a huge place with tons of people, so a meetup would've been hard to pull off. Next time we should mark a spot on a map or something...I wanted to meet y'all! Whatevs though...we got attention from the picture taker people...and WZLX took a picture of us HOLDING UP OUR FAIL SIGN LOL.

What a show! Oddly enough, it may have been the best overall KISS show I've seen (in 31 years of seeing the band). Not sure why, there was just something in the air I guess. Paul's voice sounded good to me, good balanced setlist, show went off pretty much without a hitch. Love the lowered (to match the studio original) octave from Paul on IWMFLY--something I've been saying they should do for years!!

Just got home from the show. Gene sounded great but Paul does worry me. I mean, he doesn't suck. He just isn't the same 'ole voice Paul that we've all grown to know and love, but he did well. The place looked pretty full to me (I was about 20 rows back from center stage). Eric was phenomenal on the drums! Great show, I was not disappointed at all. KISS showed why they are the hottest band in the world last night. I wanted the best and I got the best. :thumright:

I tried looking for you out front. Obviously I didn't find you. We need to have KISSFAQ shirts made up for members.(maybe they do exist and I just haven't seen them) Maybe a small square sticker name tag with KISSFAQ written on it? Something like this placed over your heart.
