Maybe it`s a dumb question, but as I am from Germany, I don`t get why the KISSONLINE tourdate says Philadelphia, PA and here it is mentioned as Camden, NJ...
Isn`t that a totally different state?

Same question goes for Boston, MA ... why are people always talking about Mansfield, MA...

Would be cool if someone could help me with this question as it makes a difference to me when I am about to choose an airport to go to...

Thank You!!

Land in Boston or Philly. Both are close to the respective concert sites. That location in NJ is close to Philly. About the distance from Augsburg to Munchen.

No...the show takes place in Camden, NJ

BUT Camden, NJ has been labeled the worst city in America at one point and for any advertising for shows that are being held at the Susquahana Bank Center which is located in Camden, NJ they say its Philadelphia... get it?

I got 3 of the $10 lawn seats with no service charge for this show. Too great a deal! I have the M&G package in 2 weeks and will be in the 4th row that night.

Anybody watching the KISS show from the lawn in Camden can literally turn around and see Philly across the river. In fact, there is a ferry that will transport fans at this venue back to Philly after each show. It's amazingly close and a beautiful view of Philadelphia.

As a jersey boy, I HATE when people refer to this venue as being in Philadelphia, but I understand it to a degree. Almost everything outside of the Susquehana Bank Arts Center and the adjacent aquarium are a complete disaster area.

He's right... I've seen it happen countless times at a KISS show when one of the "less popular" songs are played.

I agree with your statement, but assuming that you are not following the band around the world when they tour you would not have seen this setlist before. Look at last years US tour, I believe there are 5 different songs from the standard set. CRAZY NIGHTS, FIREHOUSE, I'M AN ANIMAL, BETH and GOD GAVE ROCK AND ROLL TO YOU.

The fact that we can follow the band online these days and know the setlist minutes after it has been played makes the band look lazy. The truth is they have never been the type of band to change the setlist mid tour very often. Maybe a song here and there but no huge shake ups. But back in the early days we only knew about the shows we went to or by reading the fanzines usually months after the tour was over.

Not defending the band because I'd love to see them swap a few songs around but I'm just stating the facts.

KISS Unmasked II makes much sense...and the fact that the band is not together during the week on this leg of the tour would indicate not a lot of time to rehearse anything different...

No, I didn't see the check thing and I'll explain why I think it didn't happen later in this thread. I just got back from the show and I'm still a little deaf!! Awesome show, definitely more pyro than last year especially during the finale. Paul remarked in the beginning, "This may not be the largest crowd, but you can be the loudest crowd!!" or something along those lines. It seemed like a decent crowd, there were quite a few empty seats though and a lot of people coming late. Speaking of late, I think KISS came on later than they anticipated, the show wasn't over until after 11 and some of Paul's trademark raps were absent or cut short (Most noticeably before RARAN-They just transitioned directly from GGRARTY into RARAN). This late start might have resulted in no check display. Good show boys!

Glad everyone seems to have had a great time. Now, where are the photos and videos? Certain FAQers were bagging on the Wyoming and North Dakota fans as being backward rubes for posting nothing moments after the show. Where are all the high-tech, sophisticated folks from the Northeast?

awesome show. had 5th row seats with my 4 year old. took some great pics. listening now to the usb of the show. i guess paul is resting his voice on Gene's songs. song sounds strange without him singing backing on Dr. Love

Great time. Took my girlfriend and her thirteen year old - their first KISS show. They loved it.

Even better was meeting up with an old friend that I hadn't seen in 25 years. We were playing air guitar like we were when we were ten. Most memorable KISS show for me already.

A great, GREAT show! IMO, this show was MUCH better than Hershey. I think catching them on the first night instead of the third show of a weekend may be a plus. Also, Paul's voice was MUCH better than it was in Hershey as well. Paul seems to talk a little less than he used to between songs, but he was definitely more playful in Philly than Hershey.

Obviously the setlist was the same, but it really is a good setlist overall. Songs like "Crazy, Crazy Nights", "Shock Me", "Say Yeah", "Beth" and "God Gave Rock and Roll To You" are great to have in the set this time around.

One omission that I was totally happy about was that the Pledge of Pledge of Allegience and the big fake check were gone from the show. I really hope they raise a lot of money for the cause, but the whole rant is unnecessary. Anyhow, it's gone...

Instead, they tinkered with playing "I Stole Your Love" after "Beth" but it never fully materialized. If Eric had only been back at his kit in time, maybe it could have gone somewhere, but it never made it beyond the intro riff.

This show is such an amazing thing to see/hear. I don't know why the Hershey show didn't *wow* me as much, but they really blew me away tonight. The whole stage, the lights, the colors, the fireworks, the effects, the costumes, etc. are a collective thing of beauty. A new revelation also came over me tonight that maybe I'll share in its own thread. Anyhow, nothing but good vibes after this one.

Loved this show. Love this band. 8)
