Name Something Original

0ther than the makeup "characters" KIϟϟ employs, what do you regard as particularly original that the band has put out, anytime along these many, many decades of KIϟϟtory?

Could be anything: a song, a video, a tour, a piece of merch ... a witicism ...

I agree with Gene on this one, originality is vastly overrated.

Now that disturbing Bruce artwork avatar, that's pretty original I will say that.

Maybe one would be hard-pressed to find another rock band who put out three vastly different albums in a row as Kiss had from 1980-1982.

Another One Bites the Dust is pretty disco. But then Queen always was eclectic af.

Not hard rock (though the Faces kicked ass) but Do Ya Think I'm Sexy by Rod Stewart and the re-recording of Here Comes the Night by the Beach Boys on the LA Light Album are both disco bandwagon jumpers by artists that could be considered rock to one degree or another. Heart of Glass by Blondie, too. I'm aware I'm stretching the definition of rock almost to breaking point with some of these.

Here Comes the Night is actually the most egregious example of this awful trend, imo. It's utterly heinous. At least IWMFLY still has some bite.

Yeah I thought of "Do Ya Think I'm Sexy", like "Miss Ya", as not by a hard rock band... a bit like "(Wish I Could Fly Like) Superman" by The Kinks, which is another cool rock disco tune. Hairs can of course be split about whether or not Cheap Trick are a hard rock band either.

I remember Shine A Little Love by ELO was on the charts at the same time as IWMFLY. Pretty cool tune - ELO goes disco. Not sure I'd call them hard rock though.
