I think that was one of his charity events. He had Thayer there so that would at least explain the Kiss songs. I saw Alice in late 2019 and he did 21 songs with zero covers.

that setlist for that show does not represent a regular coop show. it was a one off fundraiser. he wasnt even using his band, and tommy thayer was a guest so they did a couple kiss tunes.

Alice tends to do more covers during one off shows, charity shows, or when he's touring with the Hollywood Vampires. Look at an example of his setlist from his last "proper" tour:

Feed My Frankenstein
No More Mr Nice Guy
Bed Of Nails
Raped And Freezin'
Fallen In Love
Under My Wheels
Muscle Of Love
He's Back (The Man Behind The Mask)
I'm Eighteen
Billion Dollar Babies
Poison
Roses On White Lace
My Stars
Devil's Food
Black Widow Jam
Steven
Dead Babies
I Love The Dead
Escape
Teenage Frankenstein
Department Of Youth
School's Out

And what a great setlist by the way. We all have our preferences, but you have to admit he does a great job of mixing in some deeper cuts along with the classics.

Roses on white lace! for any artist with as many years and albums under his belt he seriously is the best at changing up his setlists and pulling out the best deep cuts from all over his career.

Last time I saw Alice he played both Clones and Pain, worth going for those two songs alone. Show was absolutely stellar, Alice always is.

His latest album (Detroit Stories) contains four cover songs (MC5, Lou Reed, Bob Seger).
Perhaps some will make it on the setlist.

p.s. The album was produced by Bob Ezrin. Who also plays various instruments and provides background vocals.

Pain is one of my absolute favorite Alice Cooper songs.
It should be his theme tune and anthem, never understood why it's not more popular and well known.

"I'm the compound fracture in the twisted car/I'm the lines on the face on the tramp at the bar" - classic Alice!

sure he's a had some covers over the years, but this poll was clearly using a setlist designed just to troll.

Alice will win anything against just one KISS member, remember it took four (4) Alice's to make up their image according to them, as much as I love KISS you have to put the whole Army and more to win , Alice Cooper influenced KISS

I'd much rather go to an Alice show at this point than a KISS show, judging by the sets Alice tends to go for.

Almost every time I've seen Alice, he pulls a couple of things out of the hat in terms of deep cuts you weren't expecting...a Halo of Flies, a Pain, a Department of Youth...

Well, Ace just said yesterday - on that Trunk Interview - they are adding 'Strutter' into his already limited setlist & it will be sung by someone else
- which means More KISS songs (and not even 'Ace KISS songs') & less Ace Solo tunes = More Cover Songs.

Ryan Roxie's live podcast today : Alice has added songs to the set without removing any of the classics - longer set including songs from Detroit Stories ..... and he said that they were playing Roses on White Lace tonight.

I'd love to see Alice and Ace play together (The Cult are playing with Alice here in the UK) ..... but Ace doesn't have the commitment that Alice has.

That's easy. His last show prior to last night, which was 12/14/19 where Rock Soldiers was played......and of course Mission To Mars was in the set in the months prior to that as well.

Man, just had a look at that on SetlistFM, a very KISS-heavy setlist.
