Vinnie NO Chiller

Post by GrapeApe64 »

Anyone know why Vinnie is no longer listed as attending the ChillerTheatre Expo in New Jersey?

Just wondering if he made a bunch of ridiculous demands or something.

When the announcement was made here a few months ago, there were bets on the Faq
on how quickly Vinnie would bail out. Some said within a month.

I think within a week and two days, he pulled out of the Expo.
Understatement that no one was surprised.

He probably feels that he makes more money from his private Nashville events.

I'd guess maybe Chiller didn't bend over backwards for him in some way he demanded, and instead of going through a long back-and-forth, Chiller was simply like "OK, see ya."

Such a shame, he was so cool when he joined KISS… now he’s a tool bag from a long forgotten era that has NOTHING relevant to offer the world. Oh and he’s a complete liar.

He doesn't seem to be hurting for cash if he can afford to cancel expos and other appearances.

You'd also think he was loaded and had an extensive touring schedule and amazing backlog of songs if he hadn't released an album in 33 years.

For All we know Chiller attempted to hand him the keys to the kingdom!

He's had multiple events, Curveboy. That isn't the reason at all.

Didn't he cancel on a group 2-3 months ago that he was going to autograph a bunch of items for, people had sent things in, and then he tried to change the deal right before the signing leaving a lot of people pissed off.

I heard Chiller told him to piss off because he tried to renegotiate the deal, which fits in line with what he did to these people. This all coincides with Vinnie upping the cost of autographed CDs on his site to $400, and signed photos for $375.

Delusional. I wish he'd just go away again.

Weren't the autographed CDs $150? That's one hell of a price hike.

You're really going there to defend Vinnie Vincent? Really?

How many events has he put on since the age of Covid, March 2020?

You answer should be ZERO.

I mean, if there is a GLOBAL FUCKING PANDEMIC keeping him away from Chiller, then a GLOBAL FUCKING PANDEMIC should keep Vinnie from doing any SIR Nashville events, right?

You're correct Doose...he canceled.

I know the dealer that set the whole autograph package up. Vinnie wanted more money at the last minute and was simply told "no",
and Vinnie flaked and bailed out on him.

I didn't know he jacked his autographed CD prices to $400. Dude is insane.

As I said before, I totally get why Chiller (and other expo organizers) don't want anything to do with him.

Yup....Chiller is probably the most well-known and "major" of these types of expos, and the last thing they need is some amateur flake like Vinnie making things unnecessarily difficult and tarnishing their good rep. Vinnie needs Chiller infinitely more than Chiller needs him, and they absolutely do not need him at all.

Was this the autograph signing in Florida where the guy received tons of items sent from all over the world for Vinnie to sign? Any other details? What happened with those items and the aftermath?

Was his cancelling due to Covid? :?

Didn't stop him from hosting "a no mask event and a great time to be normal and free again" though.

I agree with you red. Chiller looks like they're going to have a successful expo this October (with or without Vinnie).
Kinda ironic since he was the first special guest announced in the lineup.

misterhand80..From what I understand, the autograph event was canceled and all of the items had to be sent back to the fans.

The dealer knows Vinnie from the past, so I was kind of surprised that he attempted to do this event with him.

We're coming on the heels of Vinnie's anniversary "comeback announcement".. four years ago, right?

Dude is selling junky, no name Chinese knock offs that cost 350-450 for $4500. The guy is not right in the skull. He is nothing more than a footnote that people on here and elsewhere on the internet have gassed up his Egomobile and led him to believe he is far more important than in actuality.

Possibly? Either way, still no box set, or the other music he said was done or almost done. He's been doing this shit for decades, and his Linus pals keep buying it like the Great Pumpkin.
