I think Paul’s original version AND “it’s my life” would have been a awesome “1-2 Punch” as songs/videos for KISS on the “non-Elder” album that in hindsight they probably SHOULD have made.

I think you should have made it clear whether Ace played the solo on the demo. It seems you might be indicating that the solo was added in NYC. If so, maybe Ace didn't do the solo

This was fantastic! I wasn't so interested in the earlier songs so this was the first one I listened to. Very well made and presented. I then listened to the "Love Her All I Can" one too, very cool stuff (although those Coronel and Leejack solos are really grating ).

Very enjoyable, looking forward to future episodes.

Another great episode Julian! As someone who works in audio, it was especially interesting to hear about Ace’s home studio, the equipment involved and the process of tracking Deadly Weapons (which has always been one of my favorite unreleased songs).

Thanks for doing these, and I hope you continue to do so and that they continue to grow in listener numbers as I really enjoy them and think they deserve a substantial audience.

100% Kulick. There are some things in that as well, aside from the behind the fret hand string pull trick that Ace would never do.
