Anyone know details of the deal?

Peter was signing a deal and yet got kicked out of the band quite soon after that...

Had they started to record Unmasked already?

I will tell you that I can't remember any details of the deal, but I am pretty sure UNMASKED was already recorded as it came out near the end of May in 1980...

OK. And Peter was signing a record deal, as a member of KISS corp, but he was soon out of the band...When did Peter leave?

According to KISS, May 20, 1980 was the date Peter was out of the band!
