There's a chance it would have turned out different if the phrasing of the question was different - Paul's certainly one of the most respected members of Kiss, but over the years it's been difficult enough to find him likeable, far less lovable.

a good chance it's along those lines. i'm a tad curious knowing how petty he's become these days and a this, no matter how small of a percentage of the fanbase is involved, will surely offend his ego. he wouldn't be able to refrain from saying snarky just to justify his hurt feelings.

Ace, Eric Carr, and Bruce hands down. Peter would be in fourth place behind Bruce, by a slim margin.

Vinnie: As a guitarist, awesome. Otherwise, hard pass.
Paul: Nope, sorry. I know he's an original, but I don't care for how he has ripped others while portraying himself like his you-know-what doesn't stink.
Gene: Used to dislike him, but he's become more likeable of late. And the man can still rock the bass.
Mark: No opinion.
Tommy: Seems like a really good, down-to-earth dude. I know he follows marching orders, but it bugs me that he's too close to mimicking Ace instead of bringing more of his own self to the show.
Eric S : Helluva drummer. Seems to be an okay dude who is chatty and energetic. Can take him or leave him.
Peter: Perfect fit for the band. Too bad he had some demons that he couldn't overcome, but I'm happy that he finally got things straightened out. He's also mellowed over the years.
Ace: Love him. Yeah he's a little out there sometimes, but that's what made him Space Ace.
Eric C: Sweetheart of a guy and a monster on the drums.
Bruce: Love him. Helluva guitar player who brought some creativity to the band.

I'm kind of surprised Vinnie is leading Tommy in this poll. I know it probably has to do with the makeup issue, but Tommy just seems like the cooler and more reliable dude and the more technically proficient guitar player IMO.

For me it’s Gene, Paul & Eric Singer. Been that way since the mid 90’s.

Since Creatures tour I love Paul the most.

I go between Paul & Gene for #1 but in the past few years Gene has gone out in front.

Vinnie was heavily involved in two of my favourite Kiss albums, was part of the second best ever line-up of Kiss and was also the last member of the band to ever really display any true rock n roll attitude and pizzazz.

Tommy seems a cool enough guy and I have no issues with any of the subsequent members, but Vinnie - to my mind - is much more 'Kiss' than any of them.
