Kiss serves shitty food "cooked" in an industrial microwave that old people eat because it reminds them of the "good old days"?

I think we can start to add DOC MCGHEE catch phrases into the Paul and Gene most used one liners now.....
Also he mentions the documentary coming up. In my opinion, after that doc. comes out there's only going to be more separation of the original 4

It's overpriced family style restaurant that serves southern-style food most of the restaurants are shaped to look like a barn on the outside or one of those country style stores that has rocking chairs everywhere for people to sit outside on the porch and enjoy the weather. When you walk in you actually don't enter the restaurant immediately you enter the shop area you can get basically anything their candles shirts and books music vintage sodas all sorts of weird decorative signs gift cards and of course everything is extremely overpriced after you go through the store is where they seat you after you eat you have to walk back through the store to exit and pay your bill

Yeah, I couldn't even get through ten minutes of this poorly conducted "interview". Gene and Paul have clearly been coaching Doc on what to say for 25 years.

Geez. You probably don't want to compare KISS to a shitty restaurant when trying to hype the band.

Ate there once, wasn't impressed, never went back. Kind of like when I saw the current lineup on "The Tour" back in 2012.

Truth.

KISS is exactly like Cracker Barrel: good for what they are. If you desire a more satisfying culinary or musical experience, go elsewhere.

It makes sense. Just insert the mass-marketed/mass-produced product or service of your choice instead of Cracker Barrel. Could have been McDonald's or Coca-Cola or just about any kind of widget instead

I remember a video interview with Paul from about the time Animalize or Asylum came out & he goes, "I make Wonderbread for the people." Same point being made

Doc also spoke about KISS's plans for the next few years, including the remainder of the farewell tour, which kicked off in January 2019. He said: "We have a two-part series coming out called ['KISStory'] that's on A&E, that's coming on June 27th [and] 28th. We have our Dubai show and our documentary coming at the end of July and August. And we have our touring that we're gonna kick off in August, and Australia, and our cruise. And we're gonna have a lot of fun for the next 18 months. And then, at the end of this segment of KISS, Gene and Paul will retire as the touring part of KISS. And where that goes from there, we don't know yet. We don't plan anything more than six months at a time."

August is first re-scheduled U.S. date.

You don't think Bruce would've jumped on to join them in either L.A. or Vegas?
As for Peter and Ace, if they're not in the documentary you think KISS Company offered them more for a show? And if it's not about the money then what are the stipulations that Ace and (or) Peter won't agree to? That will never be made public. KISS Company only wants you to know what they want you to know, and that's to put them in the best light possible.

A lot of misinformation being spread about Cracker Barrel. Portion sizes are pretty decent along with the price. I don't find it expensive at all. Excellent breakfast. Now what is overpriced is the stuff in their store. They sell a lot of different kinds of candy and snacks that I do agree are way overpriced. I enjoy an occasional meal there.

Same here, food prices are reasonable. I think what Doc was going for was an American, apple pie type tie-in

Kiss is like Cracker Barrel because:

1. You have to pass through the merch section on the way to your seat.
2. The hired help serve spaghetti and coffee.
3. Lots of stretchy waistbands everywhere you look.

So Kiss is an overpriced gift shop with a shitty restaurant that serves low quality food attached to it. And lots of obese, semi-literate people seated all around you.

Yeah, that sounds about right.
