The TR-808 doesn't have swagger.

The TR-808 holds a rock steady tempo. Boring and un-jazzy. The Roland is also not "from the streets".

If the Roland's cord is longer than 9 inches, well then...

Speaking of Roland, I just bought one of these.
I’d love to have Peter over to help me run it in.

I'd like to see the Roland drive a '35 Chevy on a '55 frame. Not gonna happen!

This is begging the question of how many People's Choice Awards feature the 808.

A human could replace the machine's programmed tracks. It has been done. I, as an all things Kiss enthusiast, know it to be true.

The 808 never appeared on Donohue to confront the malfunctioning Linn LM-1 that had been impersonating him.

Or is it just Peter Criss vs Eric Singer?
I remember when he first joined KISS many labeled Eric as “Robo-Drummer”.

RO-LAND! (clap clap clap!)

RO-LAND! (clap clap clap!)

Roland wouldn't stink up already ropey albums with lumpen shit like Baby Driver or Hooligan, nor would it labour under the delusion it can sing.
