What a fantastic comment. If i was involved with E-one , if possible, i would get an Ace box set released under their label. I am not sure what sort of cost it would be to access all his demos from KISS days, solo career from the 80s etc, but would be a awesome release.

I love him to death, but I’ve yet to find one. I’m convince Ace’s hearing loss is the limiting factor for him. I hope his new girlfriend can convince him to address that.

Agreed. I think the video is awesome and creative, but not really something I need merch of. Guess the good news is there's nothing really new about the release so it's an easy enough pass and don't need to deal with the PITA that is RSD hunting.

Thanks for sharing! I think it is great the Ace's label keeps the stuff coming. While I don't need every colored vinyl option or cover variant, it is always good to have choices. As for the song, I see the Origins series as something the label wants and we get to hear it. As a guitar player, I see it like Ace recording a jam session of some of his favorites and in that perspective I enjoy a few listens until the next new material is out.

People do know "Record Store Day" is about labels and artists supporting indie stores, right? It's not like pressing 2000 pcs of anything is a big money grab for labels. This point seems entirely lost with some of the inane whining...

Went out to get three titles, including this one, and zero. Ugh. Did find a cheap copy of the 1991 Record Collector issue.

I've found the best bet to get titles on Record Store Day since my local store closed down a couple years ago is to find a store located in the middle of nowhere (flyover states have a surprising amount of record stores) and order from there. Wound up ordering the Ace picture disc, the Motorhead Ace of Spades single, and Alice In Chains SAP ep all from the same place with free shipping. The prices weren't marked up or anything shady like that.
