I still love the band, and I hope to get one last chance to see them on the EOTR.

Yes, if not I wouldn’t spend time following them on the FAQ. I hope I get to see them again before they retire.

Same here.. But I think the lineup with Stanley/Singer/Frehley/Simmons was good..

Kiss is The best group in the history.. Really Really LOVE at least 100 songs.

But I hate SB and Monster... (except for MDD)

So after 2001 the party was over..

I stated earlier how much I still LOVE ♥️ them, but I think my love is based on the first 10 to 15 years of their career.

However, I do have a major love for Carnival Of Souls and I had a blast at the many shows I attended from 1996 to late 2000. 🤩

I was obsessed with KISS since 1976 and I will always like them or follow news about them - but they should have ended with the Farewell tour. KISS has been driven into the ground and have become everything they swore they would never be. They have been embarrassing for many years now.

Kiss is beyond any other musical thing in my life. It's difficult to explain but they're engrained in my brain, I'll always be into them. The only thing that comes close for me is the Beatles but they aren't really close because I wasn't there for it like I was with Kiss

I love pretty much everything Pete, Ace, Gene & Paul did together in that original run. Even the stuff I don't love still feels so nostalgic so I kind of love it even if I don't

As for the rest of it, none of them have ever put stuff out that was bad enough for me to not want to come back. But they've each put out stinkers for my tastes. Gene & Paul put out Crazy Nights, Ace had Second Sighting, Pete did One for All, Paul had Soul Station. Each of those were the bottom of the barrel for me but it's not a complete picture so it's OK

Post-reunion Gene & Paul have put together the replicant line up, it was pretty weird at first & took a while for me to be OK with it. But I've seen Gene & Paul a few times since they rebooted. I saw the tour where they co-headlined opening for Aerosmith which also featured Pete. I also saw the co-headlining tours where Motley Crue & Def Leppard each opened for them. Those were fun nights out. Saw three EOTR shows as well. I had fun & it was a chance for me to see Gene & Paul again. I would have rather have had Gene & Paul without make up if they were going to use hired hands & I'd also rather have the originals up there. But it is what it is

Same with Sonic Boom & Monster. These were perfectly decent late era Gene & Paul albums. Plenty of good songs on those even if they aren't 100% perfect. Again, better to do those albums without make up in the promotion if the original line up isn't there, plus I never need to hear the hired hands on lead vocals whether there's make up involved or not. Still again, it is what it is

Overall I guess even if there's a misstep or something I don't necessarily like, it doesn't negate all the stuff I did like

I'm sure if I live that long that one day I'll be in the retirement home cranking my old vinyl, including all the Kiss ones

I’m definitely on board with total obsession with the band until Ace & Peter left again. My issue is not with Singer or Thayer as they are doing what they love & getting payed for it.
My issue is definitely that they are in Ace & Pete’s make up.
I would still support the band entirely if Eric & Tommy had their OWN gimmicks. I’m sorry even Gene had said prior to Tommy & Eric taking over that nobody else could play the Spaceman & Cat. I feel it’s a slap in the face to each of them who created their own persona & us as fans fell in love with over the years.
I know that I’m not alone in feeling this way as once Tommy took over & started staggering around the stage like Ace only to get people in the front row giving him the finger in return was
WELL WORTH IT! Once again it’s not their fault, but come up with your own identity. I haven’t seen them in concert since Aerosmith Tour and was absolutely disgusted in watching Tommy mimic Ace’s mannerisms in front of a crowd who
knows better. When G&P blow smoke in saying that KISS is all about the Demon,Starchild,Catman & Spaceman its complete BS because Eric Carr & VV had & still to some degree have a massive following.

Depends on how you define ”still like”.

I still enjoy Kiss the musically productive entity (and that includes Sonic Boom and Monster. So sue me).

But I don’t care for Kiss the nostalgia act.

And I wouldn’t want to be stranded on a desert island with any of the original members.

Totally. Every year they get worse and worse. Cant wait to see how bad they’ll be when they finally resume doing shows. The lip synching was just the beginning. They have nothing left to lose now. Gene might play the whole show in a demon branded throne or something because he’s too old to move around the stage.

Gene and Paul can’t even come up with any unique gimmicks for themselves, let alone any for two new characters.

Genes been doing that same lame blood thing for decades. It was boring already by 1979! Only new thing Paul has ever come up with post Aucoin/Delaney was flying to the mini stage, and that’s twenty four years old now! Still doing it at every friggin show.

And it was ripped off from Bon Jovi anyway.

The pathetic thing about it all are certain fans that ignore reality and act like KISS are still firing on all cylinders either with their more recent albums or live. They are either in denial or just don't want to live in a world where KISS is no longer active - even if it is supporting something that they were previously against.

Of course I still like them - I've found at least something to like in most everything they've ever done. The last couple of decades haven't really produced much for me to have an opinion either way however, so I'm much less attached to that period.

My relationship with them at the moment is that they're a bit like a childhood friend that's become a bit of a bore in later life...the kind that every time you meet them only talk about mortgages, cars and golf. It's not sufficient reason to think of dropping them from your life just for getting a bit dull though - you've got so much shared experience and they're still part of what made you who you are.

Up to the release of Psycho Circus yes. Briefly when Singer joined the band with Ace still there, but not since.
Paul and Gene should of banked the money in 97 and gone back unmasked with Singer.

I'm almost the same. I'd say 1973 (you don't like the Kramer demo?) to 1980 (Unmasked tour was awesome) for the first one. Second one sounds about right. I'd also change the third one to 1990 (so it includes the Hot In The Shade tour - not the album) to 2001. Then add the Rock The Nation tour, and yeah Sonic Boom album. That pretty much covers the good stuff.

It's a little complicated. I love KISS for the personal memories they created for me from 1978-2000, but from 2001 to the present I definitely don't love them nor do I even actually really like them as a band or people. Over the last twenty years as an adult I've become about as opposite of Gene and Paul as possible, and thank goodness for that. However, throw on Destroyer and I feel like that little kid again when I first got it. :)

I’m a fan ‘til the end. Yeah they’ve made some awful moves and the shortage of new music this century has been incredibly disappointing, but they’ve been a huge part of my life for 42 years now. I still get a huge buzz from hearing an interview, watching a YouTube clip or seeing them on TV. I love dozens of other bands/artists but nothing gives me a kick like KISS.
