1973
KISS' Club era, where they started playing for basically no one, and ended up opening for Iggy at the Palladium. During the year the band transformed from New York Dolls clones into the look and sound that would make them famous...

8 - Burswood Dome, Perth, Australia
Notes: Paul is nearly pulled into the crowd during his "Love Gun" flying routine. Changes to the set structure include Gene breathing fire during "War Machine" and his blood/bass solo being placed prior to "Unholy." Gene's flying to the rafters stunt malfunctions with his harness not being attached in time. Instead he chases a roadie, trying to fix it, off stage. Paul plays part of "Shandi," as has become the norm for shows in Australia, and there is no guitar (Tommy) or drum (Eric, who had replaced Peter Criss again) solos for tour. The band play "I Pledge Allegience To The State Of Rock 'N Roll" for the first ever time and "Creatures Of The Night" is used to open the set for the first few shows (before being dropped)...
