Bands On The Tour
Aerosmith
The "Boston Badboys" once fronted by the "Toxic Twins"... Aerosmith formed in Boston in 1971 and released their first album in January 1973. One of the biggest bands of the 1970's the band started falling apart in 1979 first with the departure of guitarist Joe Perry, soon followed by guitarist Brad Whitford. The band soldiered on with replacements, but reunited in 1984. What followed was a tour with Black 'N Blue, which included current KISS guitarist Tommy Thayer, and a rebirth as the band discovered and successfully used the emerging MTV...

KISS
The band who should need no introduction... KISS formed in New York City in 1973 and released their debut album in February 1974. One of the biggest bands of the 1970's KISS took their act past the music into the depths of merchandising and marketing defining that aspect of a band's business for many others to follow. Members started departing in 1980 though the band continued to try and redefine itself, ultimately resulting in the removal of the trade-mark makeup in 1983. With numerous lineup changes the band found solidity between 1984 and 1996, though long-time drummer Eric Carr would die of cancer related illness in 1991. The band reunited with original members Ace Frehley and Peter Criss in 1996, though Peter would be replaced by former KISS drummer Eric Singer in 2000. Ace Frehley would essentially depart the band in 2002 being replaced by long-time KISS associate Tommy Thayer. KISS' reunion tour was the largest grossing tour of 1996 and reminded many fans and other bands how it was really done!

Saliva
This brave Memphis band took on the task of getting the festivities started for the Aerosmith/KISS tour. Having already attained platinum success with their debut album "Every Six Seconds" Saliva are touring in support of their follow-up album "Back Into Your System". With a hybrid of styles the band have a plethora of influences which make them more appealing than many other "new" bands out there. As witnessed by the tour they're also willing to work their asses off on stage, and Josey won't let you sleep!

Porch Ghouls
While the Porch Ghouls are generally currently unknown they are on a path to rapid recognition. The Memphis band has taken the blues and given it their own unique touch, something they describe as "Ruckus". Discovered by Joe Perry and signed to his Roman Records label the band are often to be found playing the side-stage before and after Saliva's set and invite you to hug the Bunny.

Ted Nugent
The "Motor City Madman" has toured with KISS just about more than any other band. Yet another mega act from the 1970's, Ted was simply scheduled to open one show: Detroit.
