Wednesday, August 21, 2002 1:25:21 PM - Wanna add a major rarity to your KISS singles collection?

There are two main rarities in the US 7" singles discography: The original blue label regular release version of "Let Me Go, Rock 'N Roll" b/w "Hotter Than Hell", which
is nearly impossible to find; and the regular release version of "Strutter" b/w "100,000 Years" (Casablanca/Warner Bros. NEB-0015), which
was the band's third single from the debut album and final release through Warner Bros. distributing Casablanca. I have a spare copy
of this extremely rare single. Make me a serious offer for it, EMAIL... «Post A Comment»

Friday, August 16, 2002 4:12:54 PM - Highly-anticipated book: KISS Alive Forever!

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - August 16, 2002
KISS Alive Forever: The Complete Touring History
By Curt Gooch and Jeff Suhs
- Over-sized trade paperback (8 ½ " X 11")
- 288 pages on glossy Productolith stock
- Featuring over 175 color photographs from all eras of KISS's history
- Billboard Books, an imprint of Watson-Guptill Publications
- ISBN: 0823083225
- Release Date: October 22, 2002
More than two months before its official release, KISS Alive Forever: The Complete Touring History is already being hailed
as "The Holy Grail of KISS books." This unauthorized look at the touring history of the most influential live concert
act in rock explores the entire arc of KISS's career, detailing every one of the band's 1,810 performances.
Seven years in the making, KISS Alive Forever is the end result of exhaustive research by its authors Curt Gooch and Jeff
Suhs, who reveal hundreds of previously unknown stories and facts about KISS herein. Exclusive interviews with over100
former KISS employees, friends, and even band members make KISS Alive Forever a thoroughly addictive, immersive
experience. The already rich text is brought to life by the inclusion of over 175 color photographs, most of which have
never been published before. For the first time, readers will be able to see the infamous 1974 photo shoot where Ace
could apply only half of his KISS makeup, as well as several 1970s-era non-makeup shots.
KISS Alive Forever succeeds in deconstructing the myths behind KISS's world-renowned concerts and lays bare the underlying
story: the compelling tale of four young New York musicians who grew up to conquer the world of rock and left an indelible
stamp on American pop culture.
Curt Gooch and Jeff Suhs, previously worked together on the officially licensed KISS Trivia Challenge CD-ROM game. The
authors will be promoting KISS Alive Forever through personal appearances at KISS Expos and on their official Web site,
www.kissaliveforever.com where seven excerpts from the book provide a glimpse of this unique masterpiece.
Advance, autographed copies of the book can be purchased directly from the authors at www.kissaliveforever.com! «Post A Comment»
Friday, August 09, 2002 7:26:55 PM - KISS Album Focus Book nearly sold out...
I'm down to the last 100 copies of the KISS Album Focus Book limited edition printing. If you've been waiting, you better
order since once they're gone, they're gone! If you're heading to the Omaha Expo this weekend, you'll probably be able to
find a limited number of copies, or you can order from KISSMUSEUM, if you don't
want to order from me direct, HERE (PayPal orders ship daily, usually the day following receipt, but
sometimes even the same day!). As for questions pertaining to whether I'll be doing a second printing - I doubt it, I have
completed the second edition manuscript which expands the book to an even 600 pages, which I'll be shopping around to
prospective publishers, but the effort of doing this all on my own has been rather too expensive and demanding, though I
am pleased with how the book has done and the postive response it has been given. GET A COPY OF THIS MASSIVE BOOK WHILE
YOU STILL CAN - DON'T MISS YOUR CHANCE! «Post A Comment»

(From InnerSanctum) Gene was asked about the KISSFAQ book during an interview with
Mark Bridge of the Australian InnerSanctum website. While he didn't know of the book (he has been sent one) he did have plenty
to say about Touring, the pre-Wicked Lester band Rainbow, and the situation with Universal. Check out the interview,

Tuesday, July 30, 2002 7:25:12 AM - KISS Touring In Late 2002... NOT!
Silly season is upon us. Rumors on a certain mailing list suggested, from a seemingly credible source (rather than the usual
"my sister's uncle's son's friend's sister's mother whose friend's brother's daughter, who scrapes the corns of the woman, whose
daughter's friend who cuts the hair of the brother of the assistant to...), suggested that KISS were gearing up for a tour
with Eric and Tommy with new makeup/costumes in late 2002. THIS IS FALSE. Gene addressed the issue on KISSONLINE.COM
stating in response to the rumor post, "Here's another example and proof positive why I hate the internet. Not true". CHECK
KISSONLINE for latest official news concerning any plans the band may have. Part of the problem with the internet is the
speed with which information can be disseminted and how quickly rumor can be picked up, embelished, and seemingly become fact when
being reported elsewhere. Then people get pissed at the band. Naturally, some won't believe Gene, the conspiracy theorists
who leave the band in a no win situation. «Post A Comment»
Tuesday, July 30, 2002 7:25:12 AM - "The Very Best Of KISS" & KISS...
As usual, there's a lot of bitching about the new KISS compilation "The Very Best Of KISS" to be released by Universal Music
on August 27th. According to Gene Simmons, on his official website GENESIMMONS.COM,
"this is a decision by Universal. They have a contractual right to do this and nothing you say will change their mind". This
is pretty much what I mentioned in the news bit on 7/22... «Post A Comment»
