Tuesday, January 18, 2006 5:41:33 AM - KISS The Forgotten Songs Project continues in 2006!
The new year starts with a really special tribute to one of the most famous rock bands in the whole world, talking about KISS. Mike Stone finished with his "Forgotten Songs" project another unreleased KISS song, completely new arranged and recorded with a bunch of musicians all over Europe! This time it is the song "None of your business", which was firstly planned to become part of the KISS album "Destroyer" in 1976, but then became already sorted out during the recording sessions. Originally sung by Peter Criss, the new recording is surprisingly performed by a lady, Nina M. from the famous band FRANTIC, some additonal vocal parts are supported by Mike Stone himself.

Nina M- Vocals
Wax Manson- Bass
Don Powers- Guitar solo I
Marco Wright- Guitar solo II
Erik Stout- Drums
The Swisstroyers- Backing vocals
Mike Stone- Vocals, Guitar, Bass, Acoustic Guitar

Get a free download of "None of your business" on the Mike Stone fanpage www.mikestone.tk, on which you are also able to catch the former Forgotten Song "Baby O" in complete length from now on!

Tuesday, January 03, 2006 6:00:41 PM - Vinnie's "Guitars From Hell" to be broadcast
I'll believe this one when I hear it. The Classic Metal Show is apparently going to broadcast Vinnie Vincent's unreleased speed-fest (killer album IMO) on Saturday, January 7th between 9:00pm and 3:00am EST. According to the site, "To go with that, ex-Kiss guitarist Vinnie Vincent and his Invasion had a 3rd album that never saw the light of day as well. It was called GUITARS FROM HELL (at least that's the bootleg title), and we've got it as well. We'll be sharing it with you guys as well"... «Post A Comment»

Tuesday, January 03, 2006 6:00:41 PM - KISS Freaks Website Shuttering...
According to a post at KISSFREAKS, "I have toyed with the idea of closing it a couple of times due to my personal life and business life being spread so thin. Finally the time has really come for the last updates to KISSFreaks.com. I think KISS has become a great band again since the addition again of Eric Singer. Boo me all you want, he is one of the best drummers in rock, go see him with Alice Cooper you will become a believer also. Maybe someday KISS will let him let loose like he does with Alice Cooper. You should also check out Bruce Kulick anytime he is in town. He is definitely one of the best guitarists ever!

Last year I launched a site called Fansanity.com that sells entertainment related collectibles. I have put a lot of time into that site and business which is coming along rather well. In 2005, I partnered with Keith Leroux from KISSShop.com and re-launched the site as KISSArmyWarehouse.com a new KISS merchandise site selling at the best prices around. We have been working very hard at getting the site and business going. I hope KISS fans will stop by and check in with us every now and then. We are planning several very exciting KISS related licenses and projects through Get A Life Inc. also. I hope you will continue to support both of us through the site KISSArmyWarehouse.com and Get A Life, Inc. company.

The content from KISS Freaks is now moved over to the new site and archived so KISS fans can look at all those great stories from the past. Just click the link on the left hand side menu on KISSArmyWarehouse.com. In about a month KISSFreaks.com will automatically forward to KISSArmyWarehouse.com so please notice the location on the menu to locate all the old KISS Freaks related content."

KISSFAQ Says: KISSFREAKS was/is a great site with an original outlook on all things KISS. Steve has contributed a lot to the online KISS community over the years, including his excellent fanzine. He was also kind enough to host the KISSFAQ for a while - The KISSFAQ wishes him all the best with his furture endeavours... «Post A Comment»
