Wrong.

When Ace toured with Eric Singer impersonating Peter, he was simply fulfilling his contract. He was still under contract when Peter left KISS. (To refresh your memory, Peter ultimately left KISS because Paul, Gene, and Ace tricked him into thinking he was making as much as Ace.)

When Peter re-joined KISS and signed his contract for the Symphony show and AeroKISS tour with Tommy Thayer impersonating Ace, he was told that Ace was also going to be back in KISS.
As you are sooooooo fond of saying - please, stop being Criscuola's resident "buttboy".

Peter left the band a third time due to a "contract dispute", which is just another way of saying he had no reservations about Tommy; his sole concern was how much he was owed, not unlike Ace.

On a plus side, you chose not to dispute how they are responsible for their earlier career missteps. That's progress, I guess.

Maybe you should stop piling on Peter first, since you're looking just about as biased as anyone else in this discussion.

I'm not "piling" on Peter - or Ace, for that matter.

If anything, I wish they would've chosen... wisely. They had plenty of opportunities for that.

Ultimately, there were three things that made current KISS all but possible, the three of them being:

- Peter and Ace relinquishing the rights to their respective likenesses.
- The Reunion.
- Ace and Peter leaving.

Everything else is just, well... piss.

At least Ace was smart enough, at one point, to go behind Peter's back and tell G&P he was worth more. Granted, he probably pissed it all away but hey, for once, he really showed, you know, resolve. If I had a time machine, I would've loved to see it; film it, even.

The look in Gene and Paul's faces must've been priceless; a shot for the ages, haha.

Carnival of Souls is a SUPERIOR record compared to Revenge.

I will even go so far as saying Carnival of Souls is one of KISS' best records. It's like an updated version of the Hotter than Hell era of KISS.
