A friend of mine in the area told me there are tix available for $29 and $53, so if you're on the fence about going, perhaps that's an enticing enough price to catch Kiss on a Friday night...

Don't need a friend, upper bowl seats are on sale $29-$57 .

Don't need a friend, upper bowl seats are on sale $29-$57 .

Even though they're in the upper bowl, the view still beats most seats in a shed IMO.

Arena show always beats a shed in my book ! I'm not saying there's anything wrong with sheds. Just, if given the choice between the same show in a shed and an arena, I'll take the arena every time.

Definitely. Sheds have their own unique atmosphere, but if you go to enough shed shows in a row, suddenly even the worst seats in an arena seem like a great view

I'll be there with our 8 year old son, my wife, and her 79 year old father. My father-in-law has never seen KISS live and might be able to name one song, but he wanted to experience it at least once while he still had a chance. Should be a kick to see what he thinks of the show. The biggest enjoyment for me tomorrow night will be getting to see my 8 year old's reaction. He saw them at Gretna Fest a couple of years ago, but there's nothing like seeing them in an arena with the full production.

Looks like capacity for this one should be in the 12,000 to 12,500 range (12,336 to be exact), and there's still around 1,100 tickets left (about a quarter of which are resellers that'll either sell them for peanuts on the day of the show, or decide "fuck it, I guess I have to go"). Between that and the usual papering/radio giveaways, it should be a decent crowd, close to capacity by showtime.

This I can agree with. Overall, Kiss comes off better in arenas than sheds.

I'm glad Calling Dr. Love is back. However, I wouldn't have added it at the expense of HYH. Now, Bruce's era is ignored in the setlist. Cut the breakdown in Lick it up and you don't have to drop any songs.
