Has it been confirmed that ALL of the material on the Vault is stuff that hasn't come out officially before?
We already have I Know Who You Are and Plaster Caster (Love Gun Deluxe), You're My Reason For Living and Rain Keeps Falling (Sex Money Kiss lunchbox), Bad Bad Loving (Kiss box set) etc! It would be a real shame (and a waste of space) IF the Vault includes the same versions of demos that have already been issued officially... Does anyone know?

Gene has been known for recording multiple versions of songs, so there is no real way of knowing yet. That said, if the 11th disc is in any way legitimate, that could explain the presence of songs we already have.

The more prospective inclusions that are listed the more relaxed I become that I'm not missing out by not buying.
Too many songs with more than one version included; and so many latter day songs that you just know aren't going sound significantly different from the released version. It looks like he's releasing just about every track from Asshole - so that's what ? just the same tapes before Bag added a few samples & sequenced fills ?

If the first 4 disks included First Time Around, Amen Corner, Put on Your Slippers, Red Nails, Kansas City Kitty, Non Stop Express, Sweet Flora, Let's All Fly Away, I am a New Man etc. etc. I'd be handing over cash.

I was thinking this myself when I was looking at the prospective inclusions. I have quite a modest demo collection but with this and so many alternate versions of officially released songs, my angry twisted bitterness has subsided considerably. There will be a few gems in there no question, but I will wait for the peasant release in a few years.

The guy who did the podcasts was on the kruise and I spoke with him for quite a bit of time. He told me that none of the songs on the box set are the same versions that we already have. He also said that when a song is on the box set more than once it is because the two versions are very different from each other, not just a lyric change or something minor. Time will tell.

Where did you view the book to see such errors? Hopefully it wasn’t a final mock up and Gene isn’t letting something like that pass, although honestly, I wouldn’t be surprised. Quality control on products has never really been the Kiss way (even though this isn’t a Kiss project).

The entire set was there on the Kruise to look thru. The gentleman showing it off and plugging it said we could do anything with it for as long as we wanted except take pics of the tracklistings because they were tentative. There were commplete notes for all of the tracks though. It would seem crazy to modify it now - but, as I said, those errors were there, so hopefully that was some kind of test printing.

I've been studying every bit of info to be found on the Vault religiously, taking screenshots of every page of the book that's been shown and have some pics people took of the book on the Kruise, so if the information is out there, I think I have it. Sorry I should have clarified, my list of "notable missing songs" are all demos that circulate in trading circles.

I am also disappointed that it appears Journey Of 1000 Years didn't make the cut.... There's even a snippet of that one on the Speaking In Tongues DVD.... Maybe it's on disc 11....
