Tommy Thayer Epiphone Spaceman Guitar Coming This Summer
Tommy Thayer revealed another exclusive tidbit during the Q&A at the 2012 Indy KISS Expo. As previously reported, Thayer has partnered with Epiphone for the release of his own signature guitar. Thayer disclosed the name of his signature model, some of the specifications and the targeted release date.
"I will have my own signature guitar coming out this summer," said Thayer. "I'm doing an Epiphone Tommy Thayer signature Spaceman Les Paul. It's going [to look] a lot like the silver-sparkle top one that I use during the shows for my guitar solo . ... It's going to have a great silver-sparkle top and the sides and back are going to be black. [It's] really cool, and it's going to be very reasonably priced, too. I think the retail is something like $700, $800."
