If someone actually knows enough to know that the new KISS single will be leaked soon, then if it is true, they must have it now.
And if so, why isn't it leaked now, or at least a leak date posted?

You're saying the logic of taking one guy's opinion and singing it as gospel if it's positive is silly, yet the one negative thing we've heard from a 'source' gives you the gusto to say 'Well, that settles that! I was leaning towards downloading, but now that I've heard from that source, downloading is definitely what I want, now!'.

Here's the problem with that, I haven't thrown up my arms and said "That's it, fuck this record" the final judge for how well the album is to me is just that...me. Will I still listen to a leak? I will, but it's nice to at least know what we're getting ahead of time. The reviewer says that Tommy still has Ace qualities in his solos, whether this is a classic-sounding solo or more actual lifting of Ace lifts we'll have to wait and see. But hearing that Paul's got anthems on a supposedly heavy record isn't certainly something to get my hopes up. Or given from what I've learned in the past couple of pages, I'm supposed to chuck this review out of the window. I don't give a shit what this guy thinks about his opinions of the songs, that doesn't matter to me, all I'm paying attention to is the qualities of the songs that he's pointing out. Qualities such as 'what do the solos sound like' 'what kinds of songs are being written' 'the vibe of the album.'

Point I want to bring up, everyone was shitting themselves when Sebastian Bach was praising one of Gene's songs. When Bach's a KISS fan who was in Gene's presence at the time, did anyone honestly expect him to actually honestly review the track?

Why give Gene credit on having a fantastic song then? If the guy's saying Tommy's playing like Ace again, why make that up? It's not subjective, it's a quality of the recording, Ace-like solos that is. While the Paul's anthems comment is a subjective comment, given how he's been in that mode of songwriting since way back in 1998 I'd give that comment some merit and find it believable.

Yes, but in all fairness, if I was reading how everyone that heard Monster thought it was a cross between Unmasked & Crazy Nights, I wouldn't be too excited.

The sheer mention of a new KISS song coming very soon and I'm the excitable 8 year old boy that is watching them perform I WAS MADE FOR LOVING YOU on Countdown, the 14 year old that's hearing ASYLUM for the first time or that guy in his early 20's that lined up outside Virgin Megastore at midnight to buy REVENGE the moment it was released.

I've been married, raised children, owned a business and travelled the world yet I still feel like a kid again when it comes to this band !

With all the negativity I see on here, it's always good to get a reminder that there are others around, that feel like me.

ok. I have a friend thats known tommy for many years. The album in my ears does beat sonic doom lol. And paul comes out swinging imo. Tommy and erics songs are ok. But gene imo again pushes himself like on sonic boom. Its a very good album, but your ears may differ than mine. Some might think its the best album yet. And some may not. Its got some balls, thats what i like. HOH is a very good song and i hear this is the first single. But a gene song may make the cut. Its funny cause thats being under wraps lol. And to be honest, the only reason i got to hear monster. Is cause i help out my friend in some really tough times. Like i said u may love it or hate this album. But front to back i like it. No matter who played on the damn thing. I just hope the single gets leaked so i can hear other peoples thoughts

No leak would be nice, so we all have to "tune in" and listen at the same time. A debut video to go with it would be good, too. Like the old "World Premiere" days.

So Tommy is knowingly giving away copies to his close friends now? That seems like a great way to get his ass bounced out of the band. I've been wrong before but that type of scenario seems very doubtful.

It would be good to read "Hell Or Hallejuah is a fast paced song similar to......... with a great lead break" instead of just "it's great" or "it's heavier than Sonic Boom"
We've heard the SB and REVENGE comparisons for months now. We need something juicier !!!

I don't know about this info.. not calling anyone a liar or anything but something doesn't seem right.. No track titles other than what we already know is confirmed.. Information going back and forth on itself whether it's good or not.. Easy to say some people may like it alot and some people wont- that's obvious.. and if someone heard the album front to back why would they be waiting for a leak? Confusing
