I am waiting in the fort lauderdale airport on my way home from what has to be one the greatest kiss events I have ever experienced. The unplugged show was great with a nice set list. Not sure if it has already been posted. I was asked up on stage to ask the band a question. Unfortunately they made me alter my question about 'leaked kiss demos', but it was still worth it. I asked when the next cd box set was planned for release. No plans at this time, as per Paul

I asked the band for guitar picks and took away 5 different ones from that q&a. I shook their hands and thanked them.

The set lists were a dream come true for both nights. Lots of kiss look a alikes. Met some great people from the kiss FAQ on board, some that actually helped me get on the boat, as I had flight trouble that almost cost me to miss the kruise. Big thanks, Chris!!!!!

My fiancé was great, as she did the impossible. They said no cameras or video and she got both. They said no autographs during the kiss picture taking, and she got me Paul's autograph on the back of my leather jacket. I'll post pics when I get home.

Lots to do, q&a with doc was great, kiss trivia was fun, even though my team didn't win. Cool merchandise, 99% Tommy and Eric era, so that is kind of fitting.

Cool kiss gambling chips in the casino. Kiss napkins, luggage tags, posters, jerseys, etc..

Kiss army party for paid members was a cool way to wrap things up for me. Got a free copy of kiss icon cd, a cool kiss navy pick, and said goodbye to some awesome fans/friends I met while on board.

This will and should go down in kisstory!!!! Thanks kiss. Love you guy!!!

My pleasure-- it was exciting knowing fellow fans like yourself were back here and able to see necro's updates on the day one show. lorakiss is an awesome guy and a true fan. His trivia team barely lost. Gido blaster's team won. The trivia contest was quite a scene by itself. The band's management submitted the questions according to the MC's who were just mouthpieces and knew nothing. One of the most wild moments was during trivia when disagreements broke out on the answers. Shouting and grabbing the mike,. etc. I was buzzing on my beer with my teammates and we lost horribly. There were over 50 teams.

Some easy questions (What was the orginal title of "Beth") some tough ones (for me, not lorakiss and others) ("What was the song, the movie and name of the all star group that featured a member of Kiss and a song co-written by Desmond Child") A: Shocker, etc.

At the end while the tallies were being done, it became a semi free for all of stump the chump. Dude's stepping and asking questions, etc. Some making speeches, etc. I then left and headed to the Q/A with McGee. :)

cwr18 and the Necro relays of the news absolutely ruled. Thanks to you both and anyone else who posted stuff. It was truly a blast to read, so I probably would have fallen overboard with excitement if I was there!

KOL has posted a recap that makes the event sound even more fun and crazy with Craig Gass, WWE's Edge and others on board. This is a must for 2012. Might need a bigger boat!

Actual logo.

There was a small vid screen behind that which played images I had not seen before---mostly B&W images of the make-up faces.

The lighting was basic.

No pyro, noise makers or strobes.

No blood or fire. No solos--even "She" lacked the extended guitar ending.

Just dry ice smoke on the floor and confetti at the end.

Here was (to me) the most interesting keepsake. Some one got these b/c I did a walk thru early yesterday mornig and the tables had been sanatized with generic covers.

The casino chips (at least some) had Kiss motifs--lorakiss got them I assume-- I did not. They were in at least the $5 and $25 varieties. But the table top would have been cool to have.

Hi, guys. My original question, was something like, "Were you guys aware of the songs, Mistake, and Ain't The Smoke being leaked to the internet, and will these unrleased tracks ever see the light of day on an official box set?

I was told by sixthman that Kiss didn't want to do a deep discussion about illegal downloading. So I modified my query to ask about when the next cd box set would be released.

They actually handed me a stock question: Who's voice do you hear on the beginning of Destroyer as the news broadcaster? I couldn't ask that, and told them it was lame. The allowed me to modify my original submission.

I thought the question sucked, so I took the opportunity to ask for guitar picks instead. Yay!!! I got 5 while I was onstage during the Q&A.

NICE!!!!! Great times. Thanks, Chris.

P.S., yes I had to have 1 of each Kiss Kasino chip. $5 and $25. $5 has the logo, and $25 has the Kiss Kruise band image.

Will post more when I can as imam still enroute home. It was awesome! I got into the first show and I saw the second show from my front row centre seats! How close was this? No moat between fans and stage, so i was just inches from them when they moved forward, so close Gene was sweating on my wife and I! Gross but cool! Gene placed a pick in my hand and a few songs later placed another pick in my wife's hand! The others just threw the picks, so good on Gene! The setlist was amazing, they looked like they had a blast, and being that close to them playing was the dream come true for me, that and getting the pick! I have a ton of pics, will post ASAP. No tour books but we were given KISS cruise tote bags, pins, guitarpicks, a KISS Kruise bottle opener, I got a Kruise poker chip, the cd, i even grabbed the Kruise bar napkins. It was awesome!

Bro, wish we could have linked up with you! The bottle opener, though is not Kruise related-- I think it is generic VH1 Heavy Metal Day fare. I see the official pics with the band are now up as well. :)

They had a card tournament with the table top being the top prize. The logo behind the band btw was a screen, but it looked great!

Is that a vintage shirt, like the "four faces" of the same style?

Or can it be purchased somewhere?

The opener has the logo, cruise, etc on it. They gave them to us when my wife got me to go play bingo. They gave us two then came back and gave us two more. ;). Would have been nice to hook up but my wife and i used this as an anniversary thing as well. She had such a blast we're doing the second cruise! :)

If that was an actual logo, how did they make it do this?? :)

 I guess you are right bro! It seemed real! I never even noticed that!
Will find a pic of the stage before the show started for clarities sake. :)

Here are some pre-show shots of the second electric show.

Dursin was right-- no proper Kiss logo.

The Japanese lady in the one shot was there with her husband both dressed in traditional Japanese garb and could not speak english except when they sang along to the tunes. Bad photo due to distance but you can see Shannon and Nick (sitting behind her).

cwr18, sincere thanks to your for making the effort to share the events of the cruise in real time with the people here. You were our link to some extremely cool events, and we really appreciate whatever excitement your updates gave us.
