'Lick It Up' was my first. Still one of the very best. A very dear record and period to me. Vinnie, where are you?!

'Creatures' brings back fond memories because I'd heard 'Creatures' and 'I Love It Loud' on a BBC live broadcast from 1984 (Ipswich Gaumont, bootleg freaks) and didn't know what they were. I finally tracked down the album in 1985 (before the non-make-up cover was released). Amazing album.

'Crazy Nights' because KISS were being discussed like never before in the UK, in the rock press, regular press, TV, radio... everywhere. Top 5 single, Top 5 album - WOW.

'Revenge' - After the gutting tragedy that was Eric's death, KISS again returned to the UK Charts with a Top 5 single and a Top 10 album. And a show in my local city of Cardiff, Wales. THE ICE-RINK WAS OWNED!!!

Why are they STILL playing "Shock Me"????

We've done this thread theme to death, I know I have.

But to flog that dead horse one more time, here's my opinion;

'When Lightning Strikes' will have just as good a response as 'Shock Me'.

I mean, come on, you can't have it both ways.

The hardcore fanbase, the fans of the originals, tend not to appreciate the aping of this Ace signature tune. The TT fans would prefer to see 'WLS'.

So, who's cheering?

Those who could give a shit and just want to hear a good song - and think it's Ace up onstage anyway!!!

Eric's drumming might be a little restained so to speak, but that's what the album calls for. He does exactly what's asked to do and what's expected of him. And like others have said, it's nothing like Revenge because it's really not the same style of rock.

Well I can't argue with that list (although I don't like C'mon & Love Me). The only argument I'd have is with the order. you can't start a concert with Rock Bottom b/c of the intro. GREAT TUNE ( & my FAVORITE all time Ace solo from Alive!) but it has to come later in the set. Otherwise you've picked some great tunes my friend.

I'd add:

All The Way
Anything For My Baby
Love Her All I Can
Two Timer

Don't get me wrong... I LOVE, LOVE , LOVE Kiss Alive! That album has walked me through so many parts of my life that it's impossible to imagine it as anything different. As long as that's clear...
