These tracks are the last rough mixes that Stan Penridge did for the original version of "Out Of Control." Aspects of the album were later changed when a different engineer was brought in by Casablanca. According to Stan, "it is infinately more 'Out Of Control' than out of control" (SP). Also, the additional material that was eventually added to the album served "to round out the sound" (SP) (From the "KISS & Related Recordings Focus, © 2007 - Julian Gill).
