Album Notes:
The "Double Platinum" box was a promotional item, apparently limited to 500 copies, that was issued to record stores in conjunction with the re-release of part of the KISS catalog to coincide with the band's visit to Japan (the Summer School of Rock series). The albums are housed in mini-LP style sleeves and included the usual Japanese lyric/bio sheet, plus other items noted above.

Additional items included in the box are a set of miniature reproductions of the obis that were originally used on KISS albums in the 1970s. Uncut reproduction sleeves for both the "Originals" and Originals II" are also provided, though the inserts for those albums are not provided, and an alternative gatefold cover from the "Destroyer" album. Some copies also come with a 4-page "KISS Paper Jacket Collection" promo flyer.
