The “KISS Album Focus” began as a feature written for the KISS Asylum website. It premiered in January 1999. The webmaster of that site, at the time, Chris White and I had started discussing the project in June 1998. In fact, I had been planning a long series of articles for use on my own website. There's always been an internal debate about whether there will ever be a 4th volume of the "KISS Album Focus," or an extended edition of Volume III whenever KISS activities wind down. It's still unclear, though additional chapters of the KISS story have been written following publication of "Roar of Greasepaint, 1997-2006" in November 2006.
